No… the screen one left is disadvantaged. And both of those calls "erroneously" benefitted the jazz. How about that?
I love the explanation on the Clarkson flagrant 2...well we called the replay center and decided it was a flagrant 2. Such spin masters.
The Millsap/Miami game still tops the list to me.This ending or Sundiata shot? Any other regular season endings better?
There was also a game in the mid-aught's, when we had lost to San Antonio like a million times in a row, and San Antonio comes to Utah on a roll, having won 8 of their last 10, and with a last second layup Memo wins the game for us. I need to look it up, but for me that stands out as a defiant win against one of the juggernaut of the aughts. The Millsap/Miami game still tops the list to me.
(AP) - No matter how much Tim Duncan pleaded to get back into San Antonio\'s game at Utah, coach Gregg Popovich kept the two-time MVP on the bench. After missing Duncan for 12 games with a sprained ankle, Popovich wasn\'t risking anything - even for a win that could keep the Spurs\' hopes alive for the top record in the NBA. So Duncan rested and the Spurs lost to the Jazz 93-91 on Mehmet Okur\'s layup with 2.4 seconds remaining Wednesday night.

Here it is, they did rest Duncan but we still barely eeked out a win. And the Spurs went on to win the championship that year. For me that was pretty memorable.

Spurs lose as Duncan sits

Well there are plenty of arguments for this game:This ending or Sundiata shot? Any other regular season endings better?
Yeah I think it is that first one I was thinking about. We hadn't won against them in 5 years. That was a satisfying ending for sure.Happened twice that season actually.

I’ll confess that it’s been a couple years since I’ve really read through L2M unless it’s something very specific, but it seems they’re adding more detail. Here’s one that caught my eye:
Period: Q4 Time: 00:14.8 Call Type: Foul: Personal Committing Player: Kelly Olynyk Disadvantaged Player: Jordan Poole Review Decision: CNC Video Url: Video Comment: After gathering the ball, Poole (GSW) brings his arms up as Olynyk (UTA) steps forward toward him, and contact occurs to Olynyk's face. Poole is entitled to his vertical space (even though he is not shooting) and since he did not extend his arms forward into Olynyk or appear to seek out contact, the contact is deemed to have occurred because Olynyk is moving forward towards Poole's space. Given the fact that Poole is not in a shooting motion, a no call is appropriate. If a foul were warranted, it would be on Olynyk.
I was watching the game and when the tech happened my wife was trying to ask me something and I said hold on I need to see this call. When it went how it did I was like, okay what's up. She got half way through the question when I heard the steal happen and I interrupted her and ran back to the TV. I was too late and she was a little upset. I saw the replay right away and made her watch it. She forgave me right away. Thanks Jazz
I remember as a kid I was grounded, no tv so I listened to a jazz vs kings before the kings were good (the Richmond years) well anyways I believe the jazz were down by 6 with 15-20 seconds to go, and I believe the jazz were down 5 I think, Stockton hit a three got a steal and a long two to tie it and send to overtime. It was a long time ago so I’m fuzzy on the details, but that sticks in my mind as I remember having to listen on the radio because I was grounded to my room. Idiot parents, forcing me to my room was hardly a punishment back then. Lol probably why I’m such a bad person todayThis ending or Sundiata shot? Any other regular season endings better?
Okay, so that formatting got goofy and I couldn’t post after that without it being messed up, but WTF is the bolded? They say it’s a “correct no call” but then say “if a foul were warranted, it would be on Olynyk.” Like WTF. You just said there wasn’t a foul. What’s this “if”? You’re saying a foul wasn’t warranted, but if we pretended a foul was warranted… why Olynyk? “It doesn’t meet the criteria, but if it did, then it would.” WTF writes this mental masturbation? Steve Javie?
“It doesn’t meet criteria. But if it did, then it would.”
