There are much better options that ****ing john collins smh his price is overblown by the Hawks and they are in fact more likely to try to move one of the two point guards because of it

WHY has he been ? stop and think about it . He is a solid player so why would they be shopping him so hard, only to turn around and act like he is untouchable with their valuation of him being on par with Lebron James in his prime ?
**** Collins he is good but he aint that damn good. This team needs a ****ing point guard

He spoke up in an internal team meeting saying he thinks they need to play the offense differently. That was leaked and put Trae on a bad light.
Ever since that moment Collins trade rumors been out there and his touches have gone down.
For a conspiracy theorist it shouldnt be hard to see various theories why that might be.
Schlenk never sold him, because he was asking for the moon. Also gave him that deal. Ressler is the one who now wants him traded.. supposedly to stay under Luxury tax... but funny thing is that Trae is good buddies with Resslers son.
Do you have any examples of Collins being a headcase? I don't ever remember him being in trouble or causing any problems with the Hawks.

I think there is a huge difference between being a headcase and being frustrated. John Collins has every right to be frustrated with the way things have gone over the last few years since it isn't translating into wins. A few years ago he was the go to big and thriving. Then they bring in Capela which was a net positive from a talent standpoint but the problem is that what he does best is finish around the basket and that was what Collins did best. Suddenly Collins goes from the primary rolling big to a secondary roll man and that isn't his strength so now he is not only getting less touches but they are also worse touches. Of course if they were actually winning a lot of games then it may not be an issue but when you are underachieving and you think you can help win games by being more involved it has to be really frustrating.

I know that a lot of what we are seeing from JC is because we have him playing the 5. I think @JayBirdHawk mentioned that over his last 5 games he's 20/10.... Well over his last two games he's 23.5, 12.5, and 2 with 57% from the field and 33% from 3. That's going head to head with Looney, Draymon...
