Trade Rumors Involving the Jazz

Also pretty much everyone agrees they like watching THT now.

Also Will Hardy went along with what I said and brought WK along slowly and now it's paying off. So egg on my face I guess?

Sexton is a fine player. He is not OG Anunoby.
I agree.

I'm just a big believer in perception becoming reality.

We spread these rumors about our guys (he's trash , or he's a ballhog, etc, etc). Next thing you know you go to another forum and fans of other teams are spreading the same misinformation even though they've barely seen the guy play. It's maddening which is why I for the most part stopped looking at other fan sites.

I prefer that to Quin's style... maybe Hardy changes as we switch gears though. I guess Quin was better earlier but at the end it seemed like he couldn't be bothered (not that we gave him a lot to work with). It seems fair and likely the right approach unless you have a guy that is a star day 1.
Yeah, Quin got nothing to work with. I cant blame him. We gave him garbage that has not made any impact in the league (for the most part, might be blanking on someone).

We only like watching THT when we don't care about winning cuz its hilarious... I doubt he has many believers.

Sir, Sexton has been considered a less than willing/capable passer before the people of JFC started saying it. It's not information, it's statistical reality. Stop being a baby.

Also, very few, if any, think Sexton is trash. The Sexton "haters" just dont think his style/size is what you want on a contender.

I really hate to break it to you man but you’re the laughing stock of the forum. Nobody takes you seriously anymore because it’s just bulls**t the majority of the time. You should just stay in the draft thread permanently.

I was never really a THT believer, I just think his talent is worth exploring/developing.

It's a bonafide fact that his high moments (not just the wacky good plays, the actual great stuff he can do) are some of the most exciting plays on the team.

Cy will say the opposite of what the consensus is.

We all love Kessler so he started a stupid *** thread stating he shouldn’t play unless KO is traded.

We all want Kessler to start going forward and don’t really like watching KO so Cy made up that we really miss KO when we’re 6-3 without him.

We all don’t like watching THT so Cy purposely became his biggest stan.

You get where I am going with this.
Remember when everyone was up in arms about the offensive foul call on sexton last night? There was one poster who wasn't.

Cool story bud. Keep crying about how Sexton is underrated when you got two of the most legit Jazz sources telling you the staff views him as a bench piece.

Most posters here cant even read well enough to know what I'm posting and cant actually watch basketball.

I'm sorry bud but the consensus of trading Ochai/Sexton/1st for OG is going to be for doing it, so I'm in no way going against the consensus. Pick a new angle.
I would probably not do it... especially if it was a Minny pick. Its less about value and just about where we are. I also think OG is the type of player you can find in the mid first round so I wouldn't pay a huge premium unless I had an immediate need. Since we are not contending and he is only under team control for 1.5 years I'm reluctant to throw long term assets like Ochai and an unprotected pick in there.

Yeah, again, keep lying becuase you lack the mental ability to actually read.

I said it was one of those plays that's tough to overturn because slow motion replay doesnt tell you what actually happened. Sorry I'm not a moron and can remember how NBA challenges for fouls work.

Sure, the caveat of which pick would matter, but if we were adding him, I would probably give up our pick as we would be a very good team with him on board. And if it was the Brooklyn pick then it's a no brainer.

Put me down as someone who would not do it either.

Back to trade rumors... saw some portland twitter folks mentioning how Hart doesn't seem super stoked to be in Porty. Thats a guy I think can give you some of the stuff OG would give and might be a buy low (or buy at a regular price) instead of a buy high like OG. Vando/KO for Hart... we then have his bird rights to keep him and I think he'd work well in our system. I can't imagine its super fun to play with both Dame, Simons and then have Grant ahead of you in the pecking order too. I think he's a flight risk for both us and portland... I'd risk it.

If you then flip Beasley for a pick and expiring salary you are doing great.

Super random idea... How much worse is Fournier than Beasley? If you keep Beasley he's on a 2 year deal at 16m per... if you had Fournier you have him 2 years at 18M. As a bench guard I think he might have better passing chops than Malik. Both are ****** defenders. Knicks rumored to like Malik (I don't get what they are doing). So what if we did Malik and Gay for Fournier and Toppin?

Very much much much worse

So you agree with what i said then huh? Cool. We will have to agree to agree i guess. We were all saying it should be overturned easily as it was a BS call. You defended the fact it wasn't overturned cause its tough to overturn because the slow motion replay doesn't tell you what actually happened. Come on man. You know you have been called Cy the contrarian going back like 15 years now right? Its who/what you are.
