I'd feel confident that you'd rather have Kennard than Conley next season....unless it's some situation where you want more outgoing expiring salary in a trade.

I think we need to be in the business of buying guys when they are low, and I agree that Kennard is buy low and we could probably get something extra too. If he's the player he's been, I think the trade is still fine....but I'm still somewhat intrigued by him as a ball handler/more aggressive scorer. I think he has the skill, but I know LAC has tried to make him more aggressive but he never really complied.

Unles Conley is not playing games that will not be the case.

Dallas was in talks with Cleveland for a sign-and-trade deal for Sexton in the summer. I wonder if they’d do DFS/Hardy/1st for Sexton.

I wonder if they are interested in Vando. I'm not quite sure what to think of Bones. When I watch him, my thoughts are "he kinda sucks, but he's kinda good?". Frustrating player, but he has some talent.

We should help Minny get Bones for Naz... cuz Naz is good and Bones is more of what Minny doesn't need.

I think he is just the young guy that doesn't help them now and has some value on the trade market. I'm not a big fan... especially if we have JC and Sexton still on the roster.

The funny thing is that whenever I watch Bones play, I get the sense he thinks he’s better than he really is and he thinks he’s quite a bit better than he actually is reminds me a a really bad singer from American Idol that gets shot down and is completely shocked he’s getting the feedback he’s getting. Perfect... they can send us the first for Vando then! I would be very happy if Minny did a Naz for Bones swap though... I'd have a whole new renewed confidence in the Minny pick this year. He may be good someday but currently he's a big negative on the court.

Danny's style is methodical for his best trades. If he is rushed somehow (like Bojan) then it gets dicey.

As far as actual player we could/would trade for... I think the guy I keep coming back to as the best, price, age, roster fit is Josh Hart.

I think Vando/KO for Hart straight up is pretty fair... likely winslow and other parts get tossed in to balance the books. If Hart walked at the end of the year nbd... we'd have routes to use cap space or MLE on someone. He's one that is up and down and I think the stuff we run might work for him.

Kind of crazy how much Wood has flamed out considering his upside and potential and what he showed before he got to Dallas. Of course Porz was the unicorn before he went to Dallas and look how that worked out. Maybe bigs just cannot develop and perform well in their system.

he's actually been pretty good - 18 and 8 on 64% TS.
