Trade Rumors Involving the Jazz

LAL are not trading those picks or it would have happenned. Maybe one of them with protections for Cam Reddish or some other unproven prima

This...

Add in that they have Lebron James and AD and a pathetic supporting cast and all sorts of pressure to win.
I am willing to bet there are enough treadmill teams in the West that want a shot at Wemby like Portland and the now underperforming Warriors who have a track record of mini tanks, that would easily tank a play in game. The Lakers make the post season imo with Lebrons historic season

Ha ha ha. Lakers are not trading those picks...

But Lakers would for Cam Reddish?!?!?! Sure. Those are contradictory statements.

It's really about finally dumping Westbrook for contributing players. Clarkson and Conley instantly make that team better. They are 4 games out of 4th place. Failing to make the playoffs two years in a row with Lebron and AD isn't an option. Add in that they gave Westbrook and Ham their time to figure it out and... it didn't work. He broke.

We demanded 2 firsts before, surely. Now, it's about a rental for 1. Everyone moved so Lakers can sell something to their fanbase and management. Their fans don't care about draft picks.

The thing about a trade with the Lakers is that there are about a half dozen trades that we could do with them that make some sense for both teams. We have a lot of parts and pieces and we can absorb Wesbrook if the price is right.

JC chucking can be replaced by Westrbrook chucking if we really want it. Or Westbrook can be bought out.

For me, it's all about what the Lakers want compared to alternatives I have lined up with other teams.

If the Lakers want Beasley but I already have a first, then I sub in someone else. They can have THT back instead. If the Lakers want Olynyk, Conley, and filler... that is fine.
Without Clarkson chucking we wouldn't have won most of our games

Yeah Yabusele (16th), RJ Hunter (28th), and Romeo Langford (14th) were bad picks, but in that same run Robert Williams (27th), Grant Williams (22nd), Terry Rozier (16th), and Payton Pritchard (26th) were good to great picks. Plus he hit on all his high picks (Marcus Smart at 6, Jaylen Brown at 3, Jayson Tatum at 3)

I guess its more that I still see Boston fans warn me that Ainge is great for trades but **** at drafting. If he hit on 50% of our mid to late first rounders over the next 6 years that sounds like an above average outcome.

You are missing quite a few more of his misses. He also trade the pick on draft night that was Desmond Bane for what will be 2 late 2nds.

Aaron Nesmith
Ante Zizic
James Young
Fab Melo
Jared Sullinger
Jajuan Johnson

Like you said Ainge hits on the high picks which is the main reason why I wanted a top 8 pick so bad.
