Trade Rumors Involving the Jazz

A three team deal where we send Vando to Indiana for the Houston second round pick they own and then route that to Charlotte for McDaniels gets us a little more breathing room under the tax if we do a trade with LA that requires us to take more salary.

We could also route Boston and seconds to Charlotte if we like McDaniels more and did a Clips Conley deal.
 
I think if I was DA I'd be asking both LA teams for final offers on Conley by tomorrow... would let em know we have too many deals to do so need to make some decisions. If the offers suck I go do the Beasley/Vando deals I like best so you don't miss out on them.

Beasley did time for pointing guns at people coming through his neighborhood and maybe his kid (can't remember the full details)?

Unless there is more current BS that Jalen has been involved in I'm guessing the Jazz won't let that stop them.

I just don't like his shooting or rebounding numbers at all. None of his stats project better than Vando. But he plays for Charlotte so nobody has actually spent time watching him play.

That’s actually pretty smart. Not sure if we can get both swaps in 27 & 29. They might want to save one for their hypothetical deal after the draft.

ok keep the dream alive if you like I don't see us finishing in the lottery at all short of losing a play in and sitting in the 10-14 spots unless we get super lucky on long odds and end up top 4 from one of those low chance positions.
I see pressure from other teams, currently better records in the West , to tank hard more than we will.
I just hope the Wolves choke and that pick is 6-10

Good I hate the idea of him having to serve while the war is going on still in that region of the planet as I am sure he has little interest in it as a result.

I would rather he wasn't boxed in as that guy and instead proves all of us wrong, especially his detractors, and runs the offense as the lead ball handler, like a champ next season. But you are probably right, he won't get the chance here and he will just be a bench guard that scores some playmakes a little. So if that is what he is boxed in as by Hardy, I would trade him for a bigger 2 way slasher that can't score as well but plays defense.
