What's new

Bolmaro waived according to Shams-

200k residents in 110 square mile SLC vs 3million in a 78 square mile area in Buenos Aires. Yeah He was never going to be content with the silence.
I could still see him signing a ten day himself with Knicks or maybe Lakers similar. It doesn't matter imo we don't need him really anyway.
I would say his playmaking was largely ignored though, or at minimum his usefulness in that regard wasn't enough to earn minutes on this roster. Shooting numbers didn't transfer at all. Not a good defender etc.

The issue with this dude is this he has zero skill that translates to the NBA. Not a scorer. Not a defender. Doesn't dribble or pass well enough. Maybe one day he goes to Europe or some lower leagues and ball out. But right now he just doesn't have much to do in the NBA

I thought his defense was solid. He had a lot of chaotic energy defensively and made plays when he got in. He's just an extreme negative on offense.

I hope RW makes his decision soon. That might free up another spot.

I want to start kicking the bushes and see if there is a diamond in the rough some where.

Would also like tosee whatjeenathan Williams could do.

Good energy doesn't make you a good defender.

He has a negative career DBPM and averages 4 fouls and 5 fouls per 36min in the two seasons he's played. Rudy by comparison, averages around 3 fouls per 36 during his time in a jazz uniform and he plays center.

and yet it was his outside shot that got him drafted. funny how that was his worst skill after the draft compared to before it.

The man played nothing but garbage minutes and you are quoting advanced stats?

Last year in Minny where he actually got some non-garbage minutes his DBPM was a -0.7 which is really good for a rookie. He had defensive upside.

Que?

He got drafted because they thought he was a 6'6 do it all type secondary playmaker who *just* needed to improve his shooting.

But it turns out he was just really bad at every aspect of scoring, including getting his shot off.

pretty much sounds right. But unless I was mistaken, he killed it at workouts with his outside shooting.
