I'm guessing they want to find someone on a cheap multi-year deal who will be a good squad player. Bolmaro wasn't it, so you look elsewhere. It's just kind of odd, the front office just traded away 3 starting caliber players in Conley, Vando and Beasley, and another rotation level player in NAW. They clearly don't care at all about winning games the rest of the season, and in all honesty would probably prefer to lose as much as possible. So why not just roll with Bolmaro in the backup point guard spot for a few games until Sexton gets back?
Damian Jones is intriguing, gotta say. He does look quite a lot like Brandon Clarke out there. Find guys like that you can get on multi-year team-option deals (like Royce, back in the days) who all of a sudden are good rotational pieces even in the playoffs. That has real value.
