Not going to overreact to winning this one, the schedule gets a lot tougher after Saturday's game. It's not liker we're going to be able to lose out the rest of the season.
It was the mail in the coffin at moving higher than 8th. We will bury the trashy Hornets…. The soft tank needed to go a little harder.

Also gotta remember some of the better teams might rest stars for oncoming post-season... We might win some of them games if Simone will be this version in some of them, Dunn keeps being Dunn and one of JC or Sexton is back. I am ok to get the lotto ticket but if we somehow make it into post-season series i am thrilled as well. Win-Win.

Very satisfying game tonight IMO. Not because we won, but more because our misfits and late first rounders and second (THT) completely outplayed their vast array of hand selected lottery picks. And then there's Markkanen and even Dunn that are proving that they are indeed blue chippers and worthy of their lottery status after all. Also it was edifying to see THT starting to fulfill that promise he had showed with the Lakers. And it was even awesome to see Fontechio finally break out of his extended slump - I do like the guy and would like nothing better than to be proven wrong about him.

THT wins are the most fun
THT per game after the trade day:
- 14 ppg
- 44% FG
- 35% 3FG%
- 78% FT%
- 4.3 Reb
- 5.6 Asst
- 3.5 TO
- 0.6 Stl
- 1.2 Blk

Plus, a positive 3.3 net rating, third on team behind Olynyk & Markkanen.

There's been a lot of seeing what people want to see in his play (to support long-held narratives, back to the trade/contract I suspect). He's not a starter for a good team yet, and maybe he'll never be, but he's still, and will always be, younger than Agbaji.
