2023 NBA Draft Megathread

There’s gonna be a lot of GMs lamenting not picking this dude 2-3 years from now.

That boy can flat out shoot.
I agree. The more I think about it, there's really no other prospect outside of the top 8 that has more potential than GG. If he's there at 9 the Jazz should be running to the podium to take him. I would much rather risk the high potential of GG (including his bust potential) than take Grady Dick or Cason Wallace or Anthony Black.

I don't think Dick should even be in the running for #9 when I look at who else is in the draft. He should be in the 12-14 range.

People are putting way to much value in some of these picks. I wouldn't give up 2 starters and the #9 pick for the 3rd pick. Miller is good but he has character issues and he is only one player with potential but hasn't done squat in the NBA. Jazz fanz always want to trade away their players. Trading Lauri would set back the rebuild 2 years easy.
miller doesn't have character issues. every team that has met with him and done their research on him, dug into his background, etc, is not only saying his character isn't an issue, but they are saying it is a strength.

Yeah bro same here.

Love the “running to the podium” imagery.. hahaha..

I’m starting to really like GG myself. Something about his 38.4% from the field and 47.4% true shooting really has me thinking he should go top-10.
You have to factor in his amazingly trash defense and generally selfish behavior… gotta put a ring on that ****.

Jazz should use their first pick on a high floor and high ceiling prospect. After that, I don’t have a problem taking swings, so GG is firmly a wishlist item for me at 16. I think he’s mostly just immature. His significant issues can be ironed out in the right environment and I think the Jazz are THE best environment he could land. I also think part of his success is specifically not being selected in the lottery. With his obvious eye-popping talent and the conversation about his talent, that would be a small slice of humble pie that he would benefit from.

But he could for real bust, too.
