It's pretty special to be doing this as an 18 y.o. on that stage.
I think Strawther’s insanely effective floater is getting overlooked. There are a lot of guys I’d be happy with at 28 but he’s fairly high on my list of guys that I think will realistically still be on the board. At 28, if I'm looking at shooters to add, between Ben Sheppard and Julian Strawther, it would be a decision.
It looks to me like there are quite a few opportunities in the middle part of the draft (and maybe even a chance to pick up an extra pick in the late 1st and early 2nd if there’s someone that the FO really loves and other teams don’t).Dallas at 10 and Atlanta at 15 are prime trade candidates for us.
Yup, he is just the only person directly working for the Jazz that I’ve heard comment. Personally I think we know they want both a point guard and a high potential wing. I know who I like, but they just aren’t talking as much as in years past.Yeah but that just his opinion based on his numbers analysis. TJ in comments gave a very different picture.
Hard to do that when Markkanen is playing at an all nba levelWe could have done more ala Portland..
Coulibaly could be a good get for them at 9. He is use to playing with a big with a lot of gravity.I'm brewing a personal conspiracy theory that the Jazz are targeting a trade-up to take either Cam or Jarace, while maintaining a pick in the lottery to draft Coulibaly, Bufkin or Hood-Schifino. Jazz could be swapping picks with Orlando (#6 and #11) and giving up future picks to pay the difference. Orlando would take #9, #16 and one or two additional assets. Jazz and Magic seem like natural trade partners.
