2023 NBA Draft Megathread

Do we not like George or we just figure he slots out somewhere between our two picks? I kinda like George. . .

I like George. He may never really transition to a point guard (see Brad Beal), but he's a gunner who can create shots and make some of them. Jazz need to decide what kind of guard they want to bring in.

I am done overthinking and I am back to wanting Bilal, aka the walking Nike commercial, at 9. I want to take the risk - the elements are all there for a Kawhid like emergence from this kid. Unless there is a super easy path to get Cam, then I would want Bilal over Ausur, Hendricks and Walker. My fear is the hype is going to keep growing, especially if he wins the French finals, and the Wizards will want him.

Can you imagine if his growth spurt continues for another 1.5 inches? And one is usually awkward during a growth spurt...I think when his body stabilizes and gets stronger he will be becomes a lot better in all aspects. Wow!

The rumor from Rafael Barlowe was that the Jazz could draft Coulibaly at #9 and still find a point guard at #16, which is true. Of course, the Jazz could take someone else at #9.

This clearly sounds like a smokescreen. It might spook some teams to do stupid decisions that actually like Coulibaly. I mean, Coulibaly seems like a great prospect but 9 is definitely high in my opinion. Maybe 12 to 17 is a good drafting spot for him. I'm fine at 16 for him.

Bilal at 9 is a good pick. All the high upside guys will be gone. You might have your choice of Black/Hendricks, but they aren't all-star level prospects. Bilal probably not an all star either, but he plays a more valuable role than Black or Hendricks. He also has youth on his side
