2023 NBA Draft Megathread

I think Sidy only works if you don't think rebounding is important from your SF. Based on per 36 stats, even if he rebounded just as well in the NBA as in the G-League this year, he would be the single worst rebounding forward in the entire league.
He did play next to pretty good rebounders. Hard to say if it's really an issue. I've never heard anyone discuss it as a weakness and I never noticed when I watched Ignite games.

In the recent national team games he averaged 5 rebounds in 21 mpg.

It's true that he had some good rebounders next to him.

But Scoot managed 77% more rebounds/per time unit than he did, so it's not like there were just no rebounds to be had.

I've thought for a long time that rebounding is one of those things that you either have or you don't. But I guess there's always exceptions. Maybe he bucks the trend here?

Or maybe he's a guard? I'd be surprised if that's his NBA position, but I haven't watched all that much to have a strong opinion.

I think you need more than a single year sample size. Like I said, he averaged 5 per game in 21 mpg last year in national play. That's pretty good
