Detroit would prefer Sexton to Ochai. They don't want more players they have to develop. Sexton is a ready made scorer, something they struggle to do (28th ranked offense).
I am also team “don’t trade up unless the cost is negligible” If Cam is there I just take Cam 10 times out of 10.
Sounds like we are good with Cam, Ausar, Black, Walker… one of them will be there. Hendricks hasn’t been linked to us except by locals right? I’m obviously cool with him too.
Millsap is a pretty great outcome for Walker… but everyone is a plus version of a really good player this time of year. I mean our own Tony Jones invoked the name of Kawhi Leonard with Jarace. I don’t see it but it’s silly season.?
Millsap was Millsap with passing chips and a three point shot.

it's looking more and more likely whitmore could fall to the jazz.I would for Whitmore but not Walker.
So my deduction from this is we draft Bilal, Whitmore, Black, Bufkin, Ausar or Hendricks if we stay at 9.Sounds like we have some solid ranges for prospects now (not accounting for trades where someone purposefully trades in front of a range)
Walker: 5 or 7
Hendricks: 7-12
JHS: 13-16
Wallace:10-16
Amen: 4?
Ausar: 5-9
Whitmore: 5-9
Black: 7-10
Scoot:2-3
Miller: 2-3
Bufkin: 8-13
Dick: 10-17
Bilal: 9-16
Lively:10-15

The thing they struggle with is basketball ya dunce... they are also 28th in defense. Ochai is cheap and wouldn't step on the toes of the guy they drafted top 5 last year. They gonna roll out Ivey and Sexton? Cade is a ball in hand guy... Ivey will want it too.Detroit would prefer Sexton to Ochai. They don't want more players they have to develop. Lauri Markkanen, Walker Kessler and Ochai Agbaji are Utah’s mainstays, which puts the Jazz into an advantageous position. Markkanen can start next season at either small forward or power forward. Agbaji can play either wing position. Kessler is a center, but the Jazz are unlikely to draft one at either pick No. 9 or pick No. 16. That means the Jazz can draft almost anyone at nine, without worrying about the fit.
