He sees all 3 guys as enormous talents that can be shaped by Hardy to acquire new skills.Any cliff notes? At work so I can’t listen.
Zanik didnt really have big drafts under DL? The Jazz usually didnt have any picks it seemed like during his time as GM under DL.zanik, under Ainge seems so much more open and shows more personality than he did under DL. it's almost as if DL had scared him into being as closed off and robotic as possible. it's a breath of fresh air having ainge in charge of things and allowing a guy like Zanik to actually share some good, interesting info.
Then wtf did we win so much last year? Why didn’t we sell everyone off at the damn start? He sees all 3 guys as enormous talents that can be shaped by Hardy to acquire new skills.
Thinks the biggest thing the Jazz need right now is just pure talent, and they'd be working through team fit - trusts Hardy to figure out the combinations that will work.
Sounds like they aren't going all in next year - and that they see the team as needing further development and growth before that point.
They probably had Bilal top 5, lol.Thinks the biggest thing the Jazz need right now is just pure talent, and they'd be working through team fit
I wonder how Hendricks scored on the Trey Lyles balance testI do miss DL's propensity to create a storyline for every draft pick (aka procieption, hand pads, being ranked high on an analytics model, Sloan told us to draft him, etc.)
They usually just became memes, but it was fun to have a little unique tidbit to attribute to prospects.
Sloan telling the Jazz to draft Gobert because he was a hard worker was just another GOAT move from one of the all-timers.I do miss DL's propensity to create a storyline for every draft pick (aka procieption, hand pads, being ranked high on an analytics model, Sloan told us to draft him, etc.)
