Summer League Thread

The thing about summer league is that it doesn't tell you who will be a great player, but it can tell you who probably won't be a player. Keyonte thankfully passed that first hurdle. There is nothing scarier than a guard unable to get separation in Summer League.

Keyonte and Ochai looked fine. Micah Potter might be a fringe NBA guy. Not sure anyone else mattered.

For reference, this was Markelle Fultz in one of his first SL games. This was before he somehow screwed up his shoulder and lost confidence as a shooter. It's a bit of a loose comp for Keyonte, imo.

Yep. There were quite a few of us that wanted GG. I still like Sensabaugh but when you take health into account it seemed like GG should have been a no brainer. I just don't understand what all these teams were thinking when they passed on him.

That was always the question mark. . . but it’s worth the risk at #28. He’s a lottery talent that wasn’t mentally or emotion ready for the moment. . . but physically he’s pretty damn solid. I’d have taken him.

He’s elite physically. People lost their damn minds. Like, everyone is really impressed with themselves for thinking a 6’ 10” dude that moves like that is meh.
