This is what a team that's early in the rebuild process looks like. When Quin Snyder took over the Jazz in 2014/15, he at least inherited Rudy and Derrick Favors around whom he could build a defensive identity. He also had Gordon Hayward around whom he could build an offense. Will is working with a hodge podge of players that basically treads water on both ends of the floor.

The talent on this roster probably generates 28 or 30 wins.

Jazz were holding out to get returns on their current players. The tear-down process took a year. Hopefully that Lakers pick is really worth something.
