What makes him a negative in the locker room?

If your basis for doing or not doing a trade is if the other team would accept it, trades would never happen.
His effort and work ethic have been questionned by quite a few. I wouldnt claim that he is a negative, but the exchange would be.
Despite his other warts, Collins is at least a hard working blue collar guy.
I don't think his effort gets questioned all that much. He was put in a role that was too much for him in Minny and he was great in GSW until something happened in his personal life. Let's also not act like there isn't toxic elements in that locker room that may have impacted him.
I think all in all he does his job. There's no reason to believe Collins is anymore hard working when he hasn't really improved since his rookie contract
It is sad how little workout information we get nowadays. Only a few teams even have media availability for draftees post workout.

Jazz interviews for draft workouts used to be fantastic. Great info to dive into - now? Meh.
Now we don't even know who is working out for the Jazz unless a player self reports it to media

I know. I really miss Walt Perrin too. His comments were always so frank and honest. Such a rarity in the industry.

I think people are constantly forgetting this. Sometimes Prospect A can be better than Prospect B throughout their pre-draft careers, but ultimately prospect B turns out better just cuz. Sometimes you just got to make a vibe call.

Trade 10 + 29 + future 2nd + Kelly Olynyk exception to the Suns for 22 + Overpaid Scrub + the Suns unprotected '31.
The Jazz keep 22 and 31 and gain an awesome future asset (lots of unprotected picks can entice any team to trade a non MVP player - great asset to acquire).
Suns save salary, get a better pick and would likely draft a quality center which this draft has some. Get a 2nd for a tiny bit more wiggle room and they get another draft pick which they could trade or keep (Bronny).
