What's new

2024 NBA Free Agency Thread

Spurs got a 2031 unprotected pick swap from the Kings for taking on Harrison Barnes salary… that’s great business.
Man remember when we took on a far worse contract and got fuggin nuthin for our kindness. The one time DA wasn’t patient enough.

What are the chances the Jazz are in play for Brandon Ingram? It seems the list of potential suitors has dwindled. Outside of the Cavs, it's hard to see a trade partner that makes sense.

We could offer Sexton, Kessler, and the LAL 27 pick. Sign GTJ, and call it a summer.

For sure but that pick swap could come in very handy during Wemby’s prime as well.

It's not at all dumb to posit that LBJ will have secured Wemby in Las Vegas by then. I think it's a pretty good bet in fact that Wemby won't feel at all inclined to spend that portion of his prime years in SA.

Ok so now I heard that Jonathan Isaacs 59/4 deal only has 23M guaranteed for the first 2 years and years 3-4 are non-guaranteed.

Feels like there has been a higher percentage of discount contracts this offseason than those that look like total overpays. Usually I feel like its the other way around.
