I am not sure if I want to see Keyonte playing in this game. I remember being really frustrated last season when Keyonte often spent half of his possessions aimlessly dribbling beyond the 3-point line while waiting for something to develop inside. I wished that he became more active and asserting...and then I saw him yesterday against Memphis and was "not like that!".

Im pretty sure he will not play. They said "some of the highest minute guys wont play on this", and Keyonte was 2nd in minutes (to Kessler) with 32:08.

I like that strategy. I think it was important for everyone to play the first game (from a fans and marketing perspective), and then stagger the groups the rest of the summer. Maybe bring the best of them back into a single rotation at the end of Las Vegas.

I also think they’re using summer league to evaluate if they should keep Lofton and Bazley for this season. If they don’t play well, they get cut before their contract has any guarantees. If they do, then at least they get brought to camp.

Yeah, hopefully he can instead spend today watching the tape of his yesterday's exploits.
 
Key, Kessler, Taylor all sitting tonight. Should be interesting. I want some more Collier/Lofton/Williams minutes together. Think Kenny kinda opens things up for those guys a bit. I need less Bazley please.

I just know what he is at this point and want less of him. He did well enough but I have no hope for him being any kind of meaningful rotation piece.

Yeah, I guess. I think he is pretty clearly much better than Hendricks at everything other than shooting which is kind of depressing
