Is anyone even remotely concerned that the US seems to not have a functioning President when all indications are significantly more widespread conflict is about to significantly kick off in the Middle East as well as the other conflicts around the world ??

If the president were a king then yes. If the president were someone who thinks he knows more about everything than anyone and doesn't listen to council from anyone else then yes.

But since our government is run by thousands of people and Biden has no problem listening to others (probably just let's others handle a lot of stuff) I'm not that concerned about our countries part in this.

Also, the US is part of this group of countries called NATO. Each of those countries should be involved in trying to de escalate things. This shouldn't be something left to Biden to fix even if he were in his 40's and at the peak of his mental health.

What is Australia doing to prevent the conflict from escalating?

For the American citizens here, who plan to vote, are you planning to vote on Election Day, Early Voting or Mail-in?

Just looked up early voting here in Florida, it starts about 2 weeks before. This is what I have done in the past and plan to do again.

I would prefer to do mail in voting.

ADF currently has 8 active deployments in the region, mostly in observation, peacekeeping, training and logistics. I don't think the government can politically commit to a war in the region or has any desire to join the broadening conflict. Nor do I think we will be asked to deploy forces to the region by the US.

Just looked up early voting here in Florida, it starts about 2 weeks before. This is what I have done in the past and plan to do again.

I use the mail in ballot but I drop it in a ballot drop box and then check that it has been received.

No. The secretary of state and defense and others will be involved. This is not a monarchy just yet, so one guy being down doesn't take down the entire system, even the president.

Exactly. Of course it doesn't really matter. I am nearly 50 years old. Been through many presidents. Life has been relatively the same though all of them.

Well ya Biden is too old and embarrassing. Are you thinking this hasn't been discussed before or something? Not sure if you heard but he is so old and embarrassing that he actually dropped out of the presidential race.
