Clips just wanted this one more having not won here in a decade. Out rebounded 50 to 35. Combine that with the free throw bricking and its amazing we were even in position to win.
 
cp3 is a friggin stud.

Had the Lakers obtained him they'd easily be cruising with the #1 record in the league.

Instead, he and Blake might become the most dominate force for the next decade.

REALLY??? these pas 2 weeks i have been really frustrated by jefferson defense even in the wins.
he has trade value lets cash in on that.

Dave Blackwell said it best when the Jazz traded Big T. to Minnesota and Jazz fans were in an uproar. "Nice guys don't win NBA Championships". Al has a great offensive game, but he is a huge liability on defense. My only question is if we don't have Al, where does our offense come from? I don't see a consistent scorer right now. Paul has been human again over the last few games.
 
Great game, regardless. I'd like to play it again with Watson, but hard to complain. We look like a legit playoff team--and I know some of you think we're contenders but we're not. The Clippers look like contenders, it'll be interesting to see who comes out of the west: OKC or the Clippers.
 
I thought that the play where CJ landed on Williams that the Jazz should have played Hack-A-Jordan. Instead Mo Williams took two free throws. To me, that was the missed call of the game.
 
Hey I mean after sucking so hard for many years under the laker shadow clipper fans are crying tears of joy. Let them have it. Jazz need to pick up their slack and Jefferson needs to fight for the damn ball is he afraid or something?

Folks, give them credit. They survived a Jefferson explosion, they shut down Millsap, and took over a tough physical game in a hostile environment.

The Clippers also kicked our asses on the boards. I didn't think a team in the NBA could do that to us. They made Favors look like a pansie and completely smothered Hayward and Harris.

Give them credit.

Their rebounding edge should tell you a lot. They say rebounding is effort. Well.... One could infer then, that they wanted this more.

Instead of trashing the clippers, tip your hat to them. Now challenge our team to learn from this and get better. We gotta play with more effort outrebound our opponents EVERY SINGLE NIGHT, find a way to make 3 pointers, and to focus better so we don't miss gimmie FTs.

I seriously wish the NBA would do what soccer did.

In soccer, flopping used to happen all the time. It was destroying the game. Then they put in a rule: If you flop, you get a yellow card, or is it a red card? I'm not sure. But it cut down the ridiculousness.

Basketball could and should do the same. I think players should get a suspension if they flop and there is no contact.
 
Favors played great. Both Kanter and Favors seem to work much better defensively than Milsap and Jefferson. I'm wondering if there's a stat on that....I hate seeing those two getting pulled out for Milsap and Jefferson..

And wow, did Milsap get Milslapped today? Yes he did

Overall the game was lost on
1) The Jazz 3 missed technicals...free throws are 1 thing, but to miss a shot that your best shooter can take should be auto.
2) Bad pick n roll rotations
3) Super soft foul by Big Al.

Yeah really. Clips are the new bandwagon team. Good for the fans who have been there, but most of their current fans are complete bandwagoners.
 
Couple of thoughts,
Why did it take so long to take Devin off of Paul in the 4th. He couldn't stay w/in 4 ft of him.
How did we get lose the rebounds 50-35??? That is disgusting.

What a frustrating game!
