This is interesting given the conversation a little while back about the trade for the Suns pick. You never know what the team whose pick you own might do!

With the Lakers acquiring Luka Doncic and Mark Williams for pennies on the dollar, seeing the Spurs land Flagg and pair him with Wemby wouldn’t surprise me. After all, the Lakers never spend much time rebuilding, nor do the Spurs. I'm actually surprised that the Spurs haven't been to the playoffs for 5 years. I wish that the Wolves were a lottery bound team so we had better odds. I also wish that we were a little worse than we are.

I mean, the Spurs have only "rebuilt" once and it lasted 5 years like you said, so kind of a long time.

They do a lot of winning overall, just this reminds me of how David Robinson’s injury led the Spurs to draft Tim Duncan. Even when they lose, they still end up winning.

They were bad at the right moments and lucked on Kawhi at 15 along with a HOF 2nd rounder and late first HOFer.

I seriously will be just furious if this happens. I would likely say I’m quitting but in reality might check out for a minute until getting pulled back. But SA getting Flagg (or Harper) would just be so stupid.

I don't think we should derive pleasure from forcing players to Utah if they really do not want to be there. And I never heard Flagg saying that he yearns for the Wasatch Range.
