With the LeBron injury, the Lakers are only 2.5 games ahead of the Timberwolves for the play-in now.

The other issue is that the Kings and Mavs and Suns and Blazers are just so terrible at this point that the 7/8 seed will have a huge advantage over the 9/10 seed in the final play-in game.

All can happen in the West. If Minny go to play-in, on one game, they can loose to Clippers or Dallas if Dallas get AD, Gafford back.

Looks like the best case scenario currently for the Wolves pick is that they get #8 and have to play LAC on the road. They hopefully lose and then potentially would have to play I would hope for PHO and Durant has a monster game to put them in the lottery.

I think we want LAC to win in order to pass them for home court, GSW to win to keep ahead of them, PHO to win in order to get on a hot streak, and obviously for MIN to lose as much as possible.

Loss yesterday and Ant is dealing with a cut on his hand. Big game Friday versus Suns. The Suns look like they are finding themselves a little bit. Still a pretty big long shot. I’d love Clips to get the 6 seed and GS to get a home play in game against the wolves. I don’t trust the Suns, Kings, or Mavs at all though. I will say 5% chance at playoff miss.
