Obviously WCJ was their guy and in a different tier than those two, or they never trade up.WCJ seems cool, but, yeah, it's hard for me when Kas and Wolf were still on the board.

Can you help a brother out and say a few words about what I should expect about roster changes going forward? I don't pay attention to the details the way I used to, but I know this time of year looks really different right now because of teams facing the 2nd apron, a very underwhelming free agency class, etc. In other words, if I'm expecting Austin & Co to shake up the roster, when are the key dates? Could we see some action today (particularly Clarkson and Collins? Maybe Sexton?)??The Jazz need connective pieces and passed on two of the best connective pieces in the draft. They also need high level defensive play makers and didn't try to fill that gap either.
On the other hand, now that we have Ainge, it feels like we will have a lot of roster changes, so those gaps might not be what they are today in a few months.
I absolutely love WCJ FWIW.
I still am as well.kinda realizing i might be the only jazz fan who is still bullish on key.

Great postsame for me honestly. but he's still very young. everything people are saying about him is true. what you said here is true. i would just caution people against coming down too hard on a one and done after his second season as if that's who he will be in 2-4 years. guys get a lot better after age 20/21.
averaged 17 and 6 in his second season - on below average efficiency, but not terrible, and that's something he can absolutely improve in the next 2-3 years or so. if he can get that 54% TS (Jaylen Brown who people were talking about giving up the farm for - was at 55% this season) up to say 58% (certainly not out of the question), this is a 20 and 7 type dude on solid efficiency by the time he's 23/24.
he's a year and a half younger than Clayton.
Can't see why not if he improves like most young players docan/does he play in the playoffs?
I've come down off of my Key-high, but I'm still pretty far on the optimistic side. And, in general, I don't believe in giving up on guys like him before their 3rd or 4th season. He wouldn't be untouchable if I were running things, but I definitely wouldn't be pursuing some kind of lateral move or swapping him for a pick in the back half of the 1st round.kinda realizing i might be the only jazz fan who is still bullish on key.
Like father like son
Austin (Acutally Danny) giving Pat Riley the finger
Yeah, but if you look at the guards that the Ainge’s actually draft, there’s guys like this scattered throughout their record. I probably would’ve gone with Traore or Kas, but I still like the pick. Watching him ball out in the tournament made a fan out of me.I thought that the Jazz had prioritized length. It looks like the only guard taller than 6’3” is gonna be Cody and I’m still not sure that he’s a bonafide NBA player.
We should still be able to make a trade tonight for Fleming. The Jazz need connective pieces and passed on two of the best connective pieces in the draft. They also need high level defensive play makers and didn't try to fill that gap either.

Confidence like this will always be 100% hilarious. We should still be able to make a trade tonight for Fleming.
