2025 Annual Jazzfanz All Time NBA Draft.

Your first 6 picks must come from these 6 time periods.

79 and before - 80-89 - 90-99 - 2000-2009 - 2010-2019 - 2020-present time. If a player was drafted in 79 they count as your pick for the 79 and before so for example if you pick Larry Bird you can’t take his 84 year for your 80’s era pick

10 round draft reverse snake. 1-16. 16-1. 16-1. 1-16. And rounds 4 and beyond is just a regular snake draft.

Make all the trades you want.

24 hr clock while it’s your pick. Fill free to pm me your phone # or you can ask for mine to text a pick if you think you won’t be able to log in or over seas with a big time difference. I’ve done this with lots of others in the past. But not obligated.

We will do the same voting format on teams as we did in the all time jazz draft but with more rounds as I envision us having more participants by more than double. And all ties will be determined by most votes from other participants.

If I’m forgetting a guideline you feel needs inclusion post it and we can discuss it.

Enjoy the draft.

I would really like to do a Big 3 draft sometime (wherein you can only have three multi-time all-stars and the rest are one all-star or none [since there are a lot of flukes that should still be eligible for drafting]). I think it would be fun and interesting to have teams that might resemble what actual NBA teams are: some stars but mostly role-players.

Can I add you to the all time draft?

So all time but only 3 perennial all stars can be drafted to a team?

Quick question on this one - we’ve had years that have had a wild number of trades. If we’re all sticking to the “top six picks come from these six eras”, does that mean that trades need to follow those rules as well? For instance - let’s say I already drafted Michael Jordan as my 80’s era, and then draft a different era with my next two picks, but somebody wants to trade me Scottie Pippen. . . what’s the rule on that. Can I not trade for another 80’s era player until AFTER I’ve filled out the other 5 eras first?

I feel like in the past we had it set up so you could make trades, but could only have one player from each era on your roster until you filled each era.

I’d just like some clarity before it happens and the arguments start going sideways. Thanks.
