Netflix recs?

Watched a horror movie called Bring Her Back. Its a must see if you are a horror movie fan. It is quite insane. Starts off with a bang. First 3 minutes or so are crazy and it just gets crazier and crazier.

Is it like psychological horror or blood and gore or monster?

Trailers weren’t an art form 40 years ago. It’s a fairly acclaimed film.

Roger Ebert gave it 3.5 stars.
I just have a hard time watching most movies that are that old. But man was it a bad trailer.

Both. Its about bringing someone back from the dead and the ritual used to do it. Very original way to bring someone back and very very disgusting and gory and creepy and insane.
Watch it at your own risk. There were scenes that were hard to watch. My wife literally couldn't watch some of the scenes.

I know some people hate rotten tomatoes but Weapons comes out today and is currently at a 95% with 98 critic reviews in. Many of them are quite glowing reviews. Im excited for this one.

I'll check it out without the wife. She does not go in for gratuitous gore. She likes horror movies more like The Conjuring.

It has lots of gratuitous gore but also has a pretty good story. I really felt bad for the "bad guy" in the movie to the point that I had tears in my eyes in one scene and my wife was crying.

Watched the latest captain america movie. It sucked pretty bad.

Just started 28 years later. So far so good. (only about 20 minutes in though)

Watching Season 2 of The Sandman. The first episode was slower than I expected, but I know what it's building towards, so that's OK. 2nd episode was great.

Anyone watching Dexter: Resurrection? It gets a 9.2 on IMDb last I checked.

My wife and I watched the first two episodes. The first was okay. The second was far better…and I heard it gets even better from there.

I got showime for free for a week and enjoyed the first two episodes. I agree the 2nd one was better. Now I gotta figure out how to get Paramount for free again. I already used the free trial to watch Beavis and Butthead.

28 years later was quite good. The ending was weird though and I didn't like it

I watched Warfare last night. I'm an Alex Garland fan, so I had to get to this eventually. I think we all consume enough violence—over and over, ritualistically—that this film becomes almost our responsibility to watch.
I thought it was pretty good.
