Also, All-Star game selections mean nothing. Someone mentioned Yao Ming above, he is retired and I'm still surprised he wasn't voted in as the starting center for both the east and the west.

I would take Jefferson. Gasols post up game consists of a hook shot.

Also the only reason his stats are up is because they have no PF. Look at his stats last year when he had Randolph.

Umm.... 97.3% of Jefferson's shots are hook shots. I could see you maybe taking Jefferson for the next 3 years in fantasy basketball (even though Gasol probably has better numbers this year). But much like NY and Melo, this team will play better and develop better without Al being here.

They do have very similar numbers but Gasol beats Jefferson in every category besides points. Numbers aside, this team would be better having Gasol over Jefferson. But the thing is, I don't really care about Gasol, we simply need Jefferson gone in order to free up more minutes for Kanter/Favors. Because the only goal this year is to develop Favors/Kanter/Hayward/Burks/Evans, and besides Hayward, no one is getting the minutes they need.
