Back when I was following him pretty closely I was super turned off by his defense. He also has very little explosion/lift and gets blocked regularly by Aussie bigs.

He can shoot though and still one of the youngest players in the draft putting up good numbers in a pro league. He's interesting, I think I'm out as far as a fit for the Jazz though.

Not sure where he (or someone like him) would be mocked in this draft, but I'd be so willing to gamble on this archetype with a pick that's 20 or later. Like, very willing. The jazz roster is begging for a point center.

I'm not sure what you would qualify as a point center, but would assume that they could at the least protect the rim and pass. I don't think Lopez will be high level at the NBA at either of those things.

Just out of curiosity would you consider ihart a point center?

Just a reminder that the Mavs moved up in the draft on a 1.2% chance so we really should just be aiming for 4th-worst record so the “OMG WOW HOW DID THIS HAPPEN?” thing doesn’t amazingly happen to us again.
 
Assuming Trey McKenny goes back to school, he's a player I would really be excited for with one of the 3 Jazz 2027 picks.

Has the Lu Dort build and is a high level shooter.

Karim needs to find a college team to pay him and go to the NCAA for a season.
