What's new

levels of fandom

1T. Utah Jazz, Adelaide 36ers (basketball)
3. Adelaide Crows (Australian Rules football - national league)
4. Birmingham City (English football)
5T. Central District Bulldogs (Australian Rules football - state league), San Francisco 49ers (NFL), Adelaide United Reds (Australian soccer)

And then there are teams I have followed in the past, but don't anymore - Arizona Diamondbacks, Boston Redsox, Canberra Raiders.

I should've put the Norwood Flames (basketball) in there somewhere, they're who my son plays for.

Born in Texas, grew up in Boise, now have lived in Dallas for the past 15 years. Been a Cowboys fan all my life, through the good and bad. Unfortunately a lot of bad lately

Also born in Texas, just had parents from Houston.

Not too many, actually

1) Jazz
2a) Edmonton Oilers
2b) French National Soccer team

Grew up both playing, and following soccer. Have only been attaching basketball for a few years, but to me its by far the most exciting to follow. I cannot follow club soccer, but I always root for my fellow frenchmen in the European/International championships. Raised in Edmonton, and we seriously LOVE our hockey here. Oilers fan by default; probably one of the biggest hockey-cities in the world.

Gordon Hayward and other white athletes.

The NBA today is mostly unwatchable garbage. Thank goodness we have players like Hayward, Love, Rubio, Ryan Anderson, Ginobili, etc. In fact, the Wolves have a really nice roster.

I actually really like hockey too (or I should say, I like the idea of playing it). If I lived in the North I would have definitely have given it a go as a kid, but just don't live in the climate for it. But because I have never really played it, I never could really get into watching it.
