Biggest Reason We Lost?

I don't blame Corbin. The Jazz lost because we don't have any shooters on the wing to a) make shots, and b) make other plays possible. No one could get a lane to the basket.

**** Corbin. **** our shooting. **** our freethrow. **** Big Al. **** our defense. **** suddenly playing with energy in the last 5 minutes of game 4 in the playoffs. (This last one made me very angry to see we could have been playing with energy the whole time and didn't... I've seen the team with more energy in overtime games in the regular season.)

What I saw was San Antonio running, setting screens, moving without the ball, and getting to the hole. ON the other side I saw a lot of standing around. Also saw a lot of passes that seemed pointless, just moving the ball outside with seeming no real plan beyond that.

I'm going to blame our lack of offensive execution. That could be called coaching, could be called shooting. Could be called a poor guard line. It is a multifaceted problem. I guess I'll lay it on Corbin as much as I hate blaming a coach. But, I don't think Sloan would have tolerated a bunch of guys just standing around on offense. Maybe for a half, but not for 4 games.

Sorry Corbin, I hate to throw you under the bus, but, I just didn't see a team out there executing an offense and I'm going to blame you.

Al Jefferson's inability to play pick and roll defense. Al's inability to get into a good defensive position. Al's inability to not take 19 footers. Al's inability to not be awed by an old Tim Duncan.

So my answer is Al Jefferson.

Hantlers going on the chat. We were down 2 when he joined. When he left, we were down 21. Then after that the JAzz cut the lead to 4 late in the 4th

Maybe Spurs is just a much superior team, just maybe.

Spurs holds the best record in NBA and yet still has the best ATS by far (42-20-4)... just says they are still vastly underrated despite having the best record. They just spaced the floor so well and everyone knows his role on the team - Spurs is the team to beat this year.

that being said, Jefferson's inability to defend might be the biggest reason...

If Corbin had coached perfectly, we may have been able to take one game in this series, but I doubt it.

The Spurs are just THAT much better.
