If there are no injuries...spurs in 6 or 7, but it will be close.

I think Kawai Leonard will match up well against Durrant (freakin Burks had better become a perennial all Star) so the key will be can spurs keep Westbrook out of the lane. I like what the spurs did with Chris Paul, just keep running fresh guys at him, and they rotate and help better than Clippers.

I like the Spurs in 6. I think they can frustrate Westbrook like they did Paul, and once he melts down I think that will create problems for the rest of the young guns. When LA pounded the ball inside they had some success. I think Timmy and "Splinter" will wear them down inside, "Gyno" and Parker will work the mid-range game to perfection, and the role players will continue to bomb away from outside. SA hasn't been challenged in over a month, OKC is a step up over our young guys but I still like Pops to find their advantage and exploit it to win it all.

I agree with Stars Fan about Westbrook. There is no way he will take care of the ball against the Spurs like he did against the Lakers. And the Spurs aren't in a situation like the Lakers where they never got forged an identity under a new head coach. The Spurs know what they want to do and they do it very very well. Even though the Thunder could win this series, I think the Spurs will win in 6. But this will be the last stumbling block for the Thunder. The sky will be the limit next year. It will be interesting to see if this core can stay together with Durant and Westbrook being on max contracts next year and Harden due for a big extension. But anyway, I'm getting off poing. The series will be very competitive and both teams will bring it with the Spurs being just a bit better.

Not sure why my other attempt at posting in this thread hasn't shown up, but I say Spurs in 6. I don't see Westbrook taking care of the ball as well as he did against the Lakers, and the Spurs will make the Thunder pay for any mistakes they make. But gameface, are you serious? The Thunder are way too good to be swept. They could win the series.

This is a tough one for me. Personally, I think the Thunder are hungry as hell and have last year in the back of their mind as motivation. They're younger, have a few studs, have a couple interior defensive anchors, a couple decent role players while the Spurs are, well, the Spurs. No insight needed. I'd guess it'll come down to free throw shooting and foul trouble perhaps more than anything else. Well, everything else other than Westbrook. They go as he goes.

Sweep. Spurs in 4.

...would almost buy into this theory, but usually a hopper team has one hot game in them which means Spurs in 5. However, a sweep is certainly not out of the question. With the Thunder leading the league in turnovers and Westbrook prone to frustrating blowups in which he tries to take matters into his own hands, a sweep is definitely possible.

Sorry admins. I'm too impatient when it comes to posts being reviewed before they show up. My bad.
