Ok this is a looooooooooooong shot - so if you don't like it - stop reading.

Just saw this on Hayward's Twitter and it made me wonder, are they good mates? Can Hayward persuade him to come to Utah?

Gordon Hayward ‏@gordonhayward
Had a great time at the #MW3 @callofduty grudge match with @brand0njennings...got a chance to play the new content and got the dub too!

I know it's a loooooooong shot, but what do you guys think about Jenning's fit in our team / culture / offense? How much is he worth and can we afford to throw all those ca$h at him? With a lack of quality PGs coming up in future drafts I'd be happy paying around $7-8m per. His shot is not broken, and he has a developing penetration game.

With Monta in the mix in Milwaukee may be they'll be incline not to match if it's a high enough offer?

Kind of a chucker, but does have potential and I like that he has low TO numbers.

If we could corral his shot selection a bit, I think he could be a good player.

I DON'T WANT ANOTHER CHUCKER. we would have a "can we please end the branding jennings experiment??" Thread within a month

I don't know about that. The lack of talent in Milwaukee could be a reason... He just doesn't have any quality bigs to throw the ball to with Bogut being injured a lot of the time.

IMO he has the athleticism to drive & dish to Favors & Kanter and his 3pt shooting isn't THAT bad. So I don't know - could be worse.

FWIW, he was one of those sophomore in HS phenoms that I told everyone to watch this kid .. I pimped this kid like crazy (not literally, Cy). I'm pissed because he chose to be too much of a knucklehead.

Apart from your "Rondo or bust" strategy for getting a future PG. What other ideas do you have of getting a PG we could use for the Favors/Hayward era?

Well, I want Rondo. It's that simple. I would also like Nash except I don't know who he'd be mentoring.

I just googled him. He named his son Truth Jennings.

I don't want him anymore.

All you Rondo guys, he is not coming to the Jazz without us giving up Favors/Kanter or Hayward (two of the three). Jennings came out this season and said he wanted to play in a big market. I highly doubt Hayward's friendship is that big of a deal. There are a lot of friendships in the NBA but when it comes down to it most guys do what they want. THere are exceptions but it doesn't seem as though they are best buds or something.

I like the fact that Jennings can break down guys but I don't see his style being a good fit.
