According to ESPN article:

"Tyreke Evans' future with the Sacramento Kings is uncertain and Bradford Doolittle of Basketball Prospectus thinks a deal with the Chicago Bulls might work.

In the proposed trade, Evans and the No. 5 pick in the 2012 draft would go to Chicago for Joakim Noah and the No. 29 pick."

Basically Noah for Evans and 5th pick. I think this guy is smoking crack..but if thats the case, Jefferson + GS Pick for 5th and Evans.

Evans is a headcase but he could give us that go to scorer that we desperately need

i think that trade is exactly what chicago needs. the whole knock on them all season -- and even moreso in the playoffs when rose went down -- is that they really only have one shot-creator. lots of guys who can make them, only one who truly creates them. a backcourt of rose and reke would be really, really good for chicago. and giving up noah wouldn't be the worst thing. it's not like he's a skill player or a specialist. they can replace him.

That also provides a possible explanation for why Harrison Barnes had an interview (workout?) with the Bulls. I thought maybe they were shopping Deng.

The trade wouldn't be for Tyreke, it would be for #5 and probably hoping to draft Bradley Beal.

It would be a great trade for the Kings though. Noah is a kind of player they need next to Cousins.

Noah is good but Drummond has more upside, if he's available at 5. I would take him because a Drummond and Cousins combo could be really good.

They would probably re-sign Asik to be the starting center. Ballsy move, I always thought Noah was the heart of the team. Asik is good, but can he play starter minutes?

Tyreke could be great in Chicago, but he would be a backup and playing him and Rose together wouldn't be great.

No, you don't add another bumbling idiot to the group of bumbling idiots. Kings need a culture change and Noah can provide that. If Noah can influence Cousins, the team could be very good. Drummon + Cousins just equals too much stupid on one team for it to work out.

umm, don't be silly... it'd be for tyreke, too. the guy was rookie of the year like 5 minutes ago. he's 6'6" with point guard skills, he has averaged 18-5-5 in his career and he's not even 23 yet. the guy has a chance to get pretty damn good by the time he hits his prime.

OP is dumb if he thinks Kings would want Jefferson. They want a defensive anchor next to Cousins.

He's also on his last year of his contract next year and he isn't getting a new contract from Chicago if they trade for him, I can almost guarantee that. He will be a backup to Rose.

I will say it's a year tryout, but unless Evans magically develops shooting range, there is no reason for Chicago to give him a contract. Hell, if he actually plays worth a damn, I expect him to be traded before the deadline, if there isn't a rule preventing it.

I could see him playing a similar role as James Harden. I think that would fit nicely with the bulls.

Let's not forget Jefferson is 20-10 a night, obviously with Cousins, they would want a defensive anchor but a 14 million dollar expiring contract plus a future top 10 pick is very attractive. Cousins isn't horrible at defense, I think Cousins and Jefferson combo would work assuming they could sign a third guy who is that defensive anchor

Cousins is horrible at defense.

Except James Harden is smart and can shoot the basketball.

I just can't see a backcourt of Rose and Evans being that effective. I think they are doing this to draft Beal, who would be great fit with the Bulls because he is defensive minded, can shoot, and can create his own offense to an extent.

Banres would be a good fit if they were planning on getting rid of Deng.

he's going to get a new contract from whoever he's with, no question. he is a potential all-star, and he can play 1, 2 or 3, so there's no reason he would need to back up rose.

seriously, it's ridiculous to talk about reke like a washed up guy who's not going to get an extension or a fat RFA contract. find me a list of players who averaged 18-5-5 in their first three NBA seasons. lebron, bird and magic are the only 3 i can even think of. MJ didn't, kidd didn't, hell knows john and karl didn't...

I think that Rose + Evans is an awful mix in the backcourt.

I'm all for Chicago getting another guy who can create his own shot. But both Rose and Evans need the ball in their hands to be effective. They both dominate the ball (Rose in a good way, Evans...sometimes).

With or without Tyreke in the lineup, Rose will have the ball in his hands, attacking and creating shots for others. I think the Bulls are better suited to go after someone who can play off Derrick really well. Not convinced that's Tyreke Evans.

I wouldn't do it unless you could get some size with the #5 pick. If you could get Drummond and Evans, you would have to hope Drummond develops, and Noah is a special defensive player.

Evans is a loser. He isn't a winner. His style of play has not been conductive to winning games so his stats don't ****ing matter.

I think it makes sense to get Beal. They have Asik, who looks good and should be ready for big minutes. Beal gives them the added offense they need and is also a good defensive player.

The Bulls are a win now team. They aren't drafting Drummond. They are going to get a NBA ready player, either Beal or Barnes. I can guarantee that is what will happen if this trade goes down.
