but with all due respect, while the Spanish where murdering every Jew and Muslim in sight in the name of Mary, and Jesus, the Muslim Ottomans were allowing the Greeks, Serbs, and Croats to continue practicing their Christian faith, only at the cost of an extra tax that they paid for military protection. In fact, where Im from (Kosovo) there is still a very large Christian minority left intact the country, that had never converted to Islam (forced conversions are considered blasphemous in Islam; though the Ottomans sometimes didnt follow through with this). Tell me, Hotttnickkk, is there a Muslim or Jewish minority in modern day France? Spain? Sicily? So much for your pacifist faith!!!!!


How do YOU respond to that?


Answer: You shouldn't. If you are going to base the actions of <1% of a faith's population, and apply them to the rest of the faith, then you are either utterly misinformed, or you are skewing a perception of a faith in order to fit some sort of pre-determined agenda, or belief you have against another faith. I will never base my opinions of Christianity off of the terrible Quran-burning churches, Norwegian terrorists (who killed what, 90 teenagers? because of his country's distancing from its Christian roots?) etc. I would expect, and hope, that you would do the same.

Edit: Sorry - again for viewers at home... If suicide bombing isn't part of Quran - then why do so many of these guys doing claiming that they do it in the name of Quran?
 
For completion - please also respond to the notion of "An Eye for an Eye" and it being practice today as part of Islamic laws in some Muslim nations.

@Hotttnickkk Hi bro, I understand that you have questions, It's another thing.

But if you really want to make generalization, believe this "Muslims don't undarstand their Holly book and don't know their relligion at all". Because it's true, even though I became a hafez at my seven years old and raised in a house next to a mosque, I can't say I'm clear on all subjects in the Quran. It's the same in all muslim world, every controversial subjects in Islam has many different advocates and followers. It's a scale like from "Extremely Tolerant Sufism" to "Extremely Strict Radicals". And terrorists are beyond even that strict radicals. I accept that there are monster terrorists who believe they will go to the Heaven if they kill the civilians, but I want you to know the fact that they are the extreme minority and there are muslims too like me who is a fan of a basketball team of such a hated country by a lot of people in the world.
 
Anyway this is the perfect thread to exhibit my new(and first) signature, it's completely biased and personal and may change as I know the posters here better.
