CJ Miles Close to Signing With Lakers

Yeah, cj parties hard, I've been privy to it with my own two eyes. A few of my female friends have had the opportunity to shut down a drunken pickup attempt by the one and only Calvin j miles

We should all go to the club and celebrate!

First round is on me. Trout - Apple juice?

Woah woah woah man... That's some strong stuff to be subjecting him to. But then again, we're celebrating, so I guess it's ok, but make sure it has extra ice.

And be sure to call him a cab when he's ready to go home.

The Thriller thought it was "common knowledge" CJ partied on a destructive level? I've never heard that.
He's a young millionaire who I've seen tweet about going to shows, etc. What evidence does Thriller have that
CJ was a hard core partier to a extreme degree. As he stated players do go out during the season.

I don't recall Miles missing because of stomach issues or whatever, but I recall Fes missing at least 3 games with this.

CJ an alcopartyholic?

Is he really or is that just the popular jazzfanz talk? I ask in seriousness, 'cause I've read on here for years the accusations. Then watched him get flu like symptoms, and wondered if the reason his game got worse was because he really was an alcoholic, but I've never seen or heard what I would consider conclusive evidence.

If he is an alcoholic, I feel sorry for him. Watched alcoholics my whole life. They can't stop, they realize it is destroying them and still can't. Sad. Every day seeing the destruction resulting from his drunkeness and forever tortured simultaneously by the desire to drink away the problem and the pain/guilt of not being able to stop drinking. A couple of my friends drank themselves to death, another killed himself because he couldn't stop. Watched a close family member battle it for 30 years, and see how it rotted so many lives. Of all the miserable conditions and dysfunctions of humanity is there anything more pitiful than an alcoholic?

I think what you wrote applies to any sort of drug addiction and not just alcohol.

Gameaholics, like like really likeaholics, and religioholics are much worse in my book. Now Crack a Beer!

What if Nash makes CJ a better player like he did with so many other mediocre to bad players in Phoenix?

BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA....never mind.

for what it's worth, i have heard the same thing about CJ being a frequenter of late evening entertainment establishments and/or enjoying the company of many a young utah lass... and i'm not even the clubbing type or part of that scene.

as far as what the lakers see in him, i'll go back to this point, which was made statistically by truehoop a few months ago but i can't find the link: even inefficient mid-range shooters can have a positive impact on the team's overall efficiency while they're on the floor. CJ might be a career 42% shooter, but you still have to guard him, and that creates space for kobe, pau, bynum.

I'm in the minority here...but I think CJ will have a better season with the Lakers and probably kill us when we play them.
