I'd take Artest over Marion.
Carmello and Bryant on the same team seems bad to me.

Same. Marion is a very overrated 3 point shooter (career 33%) and not as good of a defender as Artest.
You would have had a shot at him if you had chosen Frazier instead. Hard for me to pass up Billups.
I almost did. Marion has a longer prime, was a more complete player, and a more efficient scorer. I also figured Artest would go late.

I kind of don't care anymore. Getting Artest late was kind of my lynchpin.
He's my team bitch who gets the toughest defensive assignment for 8 minutes then sits when Steve Nasty checks in. His role will be to put 40 minutes of effort into 8 in the first & 8 in the third. Melo will be bad *** in that role & force you to sit someone later in the game.
Bryant will be the facilitator until Nash comes on & possibly after. I'm running Reggie & Ray plays with Nash, who's a better 3 point shooter & has the option of tearing apart your defense if he decides to pass up the catch n' jack.
Almost took Frazier. I just cannot get over how little we know about how play translates from so early, in addition to the fact that most people don't care about old players. It was close, though. The fact that Billups is just a total bomber, still an extremely good defender, and can put up a lot of points without a lot of shots sealed it. But it was ****ing close.
