I have an Iphone 4s. My mother had a very large amount of recipes that are being put on CD. How would I get that in a readable format on my Iphone?

Yeah I can just plug it into the floppy disk drive on my Iphone.

On a serious note. Does anyone have expericne in using a cookbook app on their phone?

What format are they in now? Just upload them to Google Drive or Dropbox and then get them to the iPhone from there.

Just typed up and loaded onto CD. I am looking for a much more smartphone friendly format. I will look into your ideas.

I use android too, so I'm not sure if I phone has pdf, but if it does, that is one way. You say they are typed up? With Microsoft word? There are apps for android that will view word docs. Maybe iPhone can do that too? That is another way.

What format you are in now is important.

Or you could find a nice notebook app, or recipe app, and retype them all.

Lol, I almost posted the same thing.

Google Drive is probably the best answer. Tell it to convert them to Google docs when it uploads. Then use the Google Drive app on the iPhone.

Next best thing is Dropbox.

There's an allrecipies.com app I use on Android that lets you upload your own recipes. Pretty sure they have an iPhone app and a website that lets you upload if that's all you're trying to do.
