The most overrated player in the NBA? Houston Rockets point guard Jeremy Lin (“He’s not a guy who should be third in the [All-Star] voting.”) followed closely by Brooklyn Nets point guard Deron Williams (“I never thought Deron Williams was overrated but right now people still look at him as one of the top two or three point guards in the league. He hasn’t been that in recent seasons.”) And the most underrated? Nets guard Joe Johnson is Van Gundy’s most “underappreciated.”

Thoughts? Also did your thinking change once he got traded? If I was completely honest, I thought he was overrated while he was here as well.

The Dwill hate gets old. The guy balled his *** off when he was in Utah. When he was being called the best point guard in the league for that short period of time it was deservedly so. Before that he was the most underrated point guard in the league. The tapes dont lie. Go back and rewatch how he played in the playoffs for us. Or go back and look at all the regular season games he played for us. Dwill is/was a bad *** player, clutch as ****, and everyone here knows it. Its pathetic to watch people prentend none of that happened. He just in a funk right now because he is dealing with wrist issues and he is on a stupid *** ****ing team. Deron Williams will play like his old self again. Mark my words. It wasn't some ****ing fluke that he played so well for us.

Stop being pansy *** pathetic haters. Its embarrassing to be associated with you. You can not be a fan of someone, but being a hater for no good reason is just ****ing gay.

Anyways, D-will was awesome while he was here but he's been less than spectacular in NJ. Who knows if it's injury or whatever, but I am very happy with what we got for him given how he is looking these days.
 
Double fail. Mixing up the Van Gundys and saying "most overrated" in the thread title when that clearly isn't the case.

It's alright guys, there's a reason behind this madness.

I do this once in a while to prove that I am after all a fallible human being, like everyone else.

But I guess there aren't a lot of sense of humour in this forum...

dwill is not overrated. he has been struggling since leaving the jazz but he is still one of the better point guards in this league. once he gets his shooting back, he will be worth the money he gets.
