Who calls for Favors isolations? Is that on Corbin? Our PG? Should we not be calling for pick n rolls with Favors?
This is a good question. My theory is that while it's quite clear Favs would be more effective finishing PnR plays in the long run he's gonna be a vastly more effective weapon once he gets that footwork down and stops turning the ball over. Corbs is forcing those rather ugly possessions pretty often considering how much Favors/Kanter are on the court, and they turn the ball over doing it at an absurd rate as they are right now.
At this point those two players aren't looking great at what Corbin wants them to do, and maybe they won't. But if they both develop that low post game Ty is going to look like a genius. Both of these players have attributes that will lead to tons of FTs if they can shake defenders around the rim like Jefferson can.
Again, maybe Ty is just retarded and Favs won't ever be that guy but this is the goal. Kanter sure looks like he has a good chance.
