I can seriously see Burke winning Rookie of the Year. Before the draft I thought Burke and McCollum seemed like front runners for the award, but with McCollum playing along side Lillard and Matthews, and Burke hopefully being our starting PG, I like Burke's chances better simply because of the situations. As long as the Jazz don't do their normal crap of bringing in a vet to start over their studly young guy, Burke is definitely in the better position to win it.

Do you think Burke will win ROY? Or will someone like Bennett or McLemore claim it? Does McCollum still have a shot?

Discuss.

FA will determine whether he starts or not. Hope the whole organization has bought into the rebuild.

I would say pre-season favorites would be:

1. Burke
2. Porter
3. Bennett
4. Zeller
5. Shabazz

Burke is top-5 ---

Burke, Zeller, Oladipo would be frontrunners. Maybe Len if he gets it going.

Zeller is a bust, Noel is the real deal, also Oladipo could be suprising. BUT and their is no two opinions about it, Mclemor is the best player on this draft, everybody will see. BOOK THIS LINE.

Best Big = Noel
Best PG = BURKE
Best SG = Mclemor

The best player is McLemor and MJ is the best player, but worst GM I have ever seen. BOOK IT

It's going to be the guys that get the highest playing time.
Given that,

Oladipo, Porter, Len, and Zeller are all possibilities.

McLemore can't create his own shot that well and he is going to play on a selfish team full of losers. That is why I didn't put him on my top 5 watch list.

Zeller is going to be good. He will score a lot since he is clearly going to be at least the 2nd option from the get go, maybe the 1st by the end of the season.

I think Burke might not get a lot of personal awards (ROY, Allstat, etc), but what excites me about him is I think he makes Favors an All-Star running the floor and playing the P&R.

But then again, knowing Corbin, Burke will get 10 mins a night after Tinsley and Watson get hurt and Corbin won't incorporate the P&R in the Jazz offense.

SO excited for Favors to have a PG that can actually pass.
