My oldest daughter is not my biological daughter. I adopted her when I married and she has been mine since she was 6 years old. (So no blood relation)
Her husband is my half-brother (same father.. hence the 'looks like' thing I guess.. good call).

So, yes, I am from KY and, yes, my daughter married my brother..... that's lots of fodder even without any blood relation.

But when they start getting kids, they shouldn't tell them of that "coincidence" before they come of age...
You don't wanna pick them up from school when their friends know you're the "step grandfather" and "half uncle" in one and the same person. While in elementary school that might be still funny the older the kids get the higher the probability that this causes a target on their backs ;)
