I've seen that setup before. Not sure why some prefer the smaller hoop.I can't imagine a bunch of grown black men playing on a small hoop. Maybe its the angle of the camera that makes it look smaller than 10 ft?

OK now I know I need glasses - I thought this thread said Norman Mailer.
Yikes.
Never understood why it is so hard to spell Mormon correctly.
I coached against him when I was at Bonneville High. He's a great kid; He's going to Southern Utah for footballThat Payne kid throwing down those sick dunks was an absolute terror for Orem High in football a few years ago. He made getting 100-200 yards receiving and 2-3 TDs per gsme a normal thing. I think he once hit 300 receiving yards in one game. I saw him play a few times and am happy to see he still has explosiveness. That kid just blew past any HS corner and outjumped any safety.
I'm pretty sure he broke some receiving records across the state when he played. If Orem had any defense they maybe could have challenged powers like Timpview, East, Highland or Mtn Crest that year.
His future is definitely Football, not Basketball. If BYU has him, then they've found a new franchise WR for the next few years. Hopefully Lil Brother doesn't have him.
Why are all the blacks all acting surprised? I swear that's racist. They should all be attacked publicly, suspended, and sent to sensitivity training.
I did something like this is South Africa... I don't quite have the hops those boys had(if it was on a 10' rim) but I have a decent crossover and can hit an open J!!
Anyways we were walking by the courts in the middle of this Township and a kid was shooting hoops so I asked if I could play him one-on-one and he laughed at me and said you umlungu(white boy) with those cloths on??
I said give me the ball.... Ya I whooped the kid and came back the next week to play with him on his team in a 4-on- 4 game and the other team laughed when I showed up with his team but then I just dominated the boards and had put back after put back!!!
Won't lie it was awesome!!!!
