I know Jordan was amazing n ****, but, seriously, Hakeem was straight up UNGUARDABLE when he had space.... more than anybody I ever watched. When you surround him with Ray Allen, Glen Rice, DWill, Barkley, etc. you're just gonna win.

And Rashard Lewis as a stretch PF. Another career 40% 3 point shooter.

Hakeem may be most underrated player of all time considering he's arguably the best rim-protector the league has ever seen while simultaneously being the best post-player the league has ever seen while also being the only player I can name that won a championship without another marquee player (Otis Thorpe is not marquee and neither is Kenny Smith [even though he is a very underrated player as well]).

.

Dirk is a career 58% Trueshooter and 51.1% effective field goal percentage guy. Shooting 3's of course affects your absolute FG% negatively...And read above: Dirk's defensive rebounding is just a notch below Garnett's. In 50 possessions, Garnett grabs one defensive board more. Garnett was a bad offensive guy, just look at his numbers. A career 110 ORtg player, and only 105 in playoffs. Compare that to Dirk's 117 in regular season and 118 in playoffs. That's str8 up mediocre.

Dirk's FG% is fine for his playing style. It's just my preferences, I don't like my PF on the perimeter that much. In a team like Hotnickkk's team it's perfectly fine to have Dirk. Actually a Shaq/Dirk combo might(or might not, very close) be as good as the Dream/Barkley tandem. The thing that ruins his team is KG at SF.

About Dirk's defensive rebounding... I know playing at perimeter hurts your defensive rebounding numbers but it does not mean that Dirk is as good rebounder as KG. Stats never could be a proof for that, especially when the eye test says the opposite. KG is the better rebounder, period.

"Garnett was a bad offensive guy"... Again my eye test says, no he was not. KG is one of my LEAST favorite players but no he was not a bad offensive guy. Maybe it's because Dirk was exceptional at what he does best, scoring(especially his ridiculous jumper), but Dirk being so good at shooting doesn't make KG a bad offensive guy.

Edit: KG's true shooting % is 55, effective field goal % is 50, a bad offensive guy? I don't think so.

LoL.. this is exactly what I thought it would turn out to be.. a popularity contest..

Too bad I have too many haters around these parts....
You have haters because you are dumb and now because you are a whiner as well.

As I already mentioned, this is secondary to the point that your team is silly.

Alright you guys.. since there are so many haters hating my guts.. and this game seems too far gone... Reps will be given to those who voted for my team to show you guys my appreciation...

Thanks guys.. **tears**

How is O'Neal going to guard anyone in the pick n' roll?

How is Dirk going to grab rebounds?

How is KKK's slow *** front court going to handle the speed of Barkley in transition?

How is Harden going to score with Payton on him? (Yeah, I'm putting Payton on Harden, Wade vs. Kidd).

The whole thing with Dirk's size is a big matchup, but there are other matchups that Spycam's team has and I think he has the overall better players.

You used the words Barkley and speed together. I just need to call you on that. The guys with speed are Wade and Hill on Spycam's team. Dirk has a serious length advantage on Barkley and can shoot over him all day.

I'm not a big fan of nikkk's guards, but I still think KG is the biggest mismatch on the floor. That's where you make up the difference on the boards and help defense. Grant Hill is a straight-line driver, and that's it. So defenders can back off him.

I do like Spycam's center rotation best though.

Isn't this competition about the prime time of players? Grant Hill was the definition of ideal SF. (maybe except shooting threes)

He was prototypical in some ways, but his team in Detroit never won much, and he never was close to being the MVP of the league. Hill was a better athlete than most other SFs and he had a pretty good handle. He was an excellent slasher, imo.

So how come a SF KG is better than him?

I don't hate you nickkk.

I just really like spy sixth man and Barkley not chump.

You had a great starting lineup.

Props to you

Because KG was an unstoppable force who could just shoot over smaller players and run right around bigger players.

Here is Shawn Marion trying to guard KG. KG went for 47 pts.

It's like all over Dirk/Barkley debate again. KG would have some advantages but it's a two way game. I really can't imagine a 7 footer at SF besting a prime Grant Hill in a 7 game series. KG is not Durant.

I voted Hotnickkkk. I think it could go either way. I think Shaq , Rondo, and Harden are being shortchanged in this discussion.
Hill was amazing before his injuries. I'm not sure how the Garnett v Hill, Barkley v Dirk matchups would turn out, but I would lean towards Spy's team if it came down to those matchups.
