Mike Tyson is dying!

I love Mike Tyson because he has a kind heart. Few can relate to him because of his upbringing. Obviously he made poor decisions but I feel like he had plenty of mental and behavioral problems that were never addressed during the critical times of his development as a human. He wasn't afforded the same luxuries many of us were during the most important stages of mental and emotional growth. People can change. It is sad to see a poster like LogGrad98 and some others in this thread hoping another human can't find peace in their lives. As if it effects you in some way? There must be something underneath your people's hatred and contempt. Perhaps your spite is bred out of insecure projections. I felt like sharing my support for Mike in this thread because of all the hate. It puts things in perspective because I would not know Mike or his story if it weren't for his legendary boxing skills - so I am going to try to be even more compassionate for those who are born and raised in poverty-stricken environments without many, if any, positive adult influences at home, in the community or at school.

Went to prison for rape.

Bit a guys ear off when knocking him out wasn't working.

Man, I'd hate to see what someone with a cruel heart would do.

I don't want Tyson to suffer but I'm not going to cry for him.

BTW, loved him in Hangover.

I think it was a witch hunt and I don't believe he raped her. He was taken advantage of before he was capable of making independent decisions. Boxing is competition and the point of the sport is to try and punch other people so it is unfair to use that against his heart. I've met him several times and I know he has a kind heart. I'm not asking or condoning crying for him - I just oppose the venom.
