What's new

Following potential 2014 draftees

james young and or aaron harrison sound like good consilation prize(s) if we dont get a top 7 pick

I'm buying Aaron right now. I'm high on Young but want to see him play at this level before I'm fully buying.

Though everything I'm hearing on Young is excellent defender, excellent shot, excellent rebounder....

i think the jazz would do well with

burke
young or hayward
young or hayward
favors
kanter

burks and gobert off the bench

Young won't be able to defend NBA SF's, imo. As I have said many times, I'm watching for strength/ability to add strength.

One more thing about Aaron..

When Andrew got hurt last year, Aaron took over the PG spot (for nearly the entire season) and ended up beating out Andrew and Julius Randle for Texas Mr. Basketball.. while playing PG.

So when Aaron is also getting projected to play PG long term, that basically means they won't be able to team up in the NBA.
Well maybe in New Orleans. They pay double digit millions for bench leaders...

I do like the idea of drafting both twins. Having two 6'6 guys in the backcourt that can both run an offense, defend, and score.. that have been playing together since they were 4 years old?? Yep.

If they can defend definately. But that I want to see first. Plus I have made my stance on height measurement clear in recent months I think ;)
But if the draft combine shows 6'4.5 w/o shoes that'd be a first step to convince me.

What type of company, Catch?

Just saw this. My company does digital media/omni-channel retail marketing (in-store/online/mobile). Basically people sign up or log-in with Facebook. They register the credit/debit cards they like to shop with, they automatically get credit for their purchases at big-name retailers and earn VIP benefits like gift cards and private sales they can request when they want. We work with fashion/lifestyle brands like Saks 5th Ave., Banana Republic, etc. Our platform partners with media like Pandora and others.

Basically people's credit cards behave like Internet cookies and we apply digital marketing and ecommerce practices to real-world shopping. We white-label for clients and media and tie it all together. I've been working on it for a few years, and we've kept a low profile.

I'm in NYC to sell in and manage retail brands. Otherwise, I don't think I'd live in NY.
