i think the main reason jazz fell behind so early is our interior defense, big al can't defend the paint too well, this allows jazz to double team constantly or help in the paint which leads to 3 pointers or offensive rebounds by the opponents.

i think we must start Fes in the middle to resolve this problem, time to move Raja or Millsap to bench players.

The only problem is he hasn't learned how to defend well w/o fouling (or at least how to make it look that way). Fes starting would mean he would play for the first and last five minutes of the game.

>HOWEVER<
He has obviously made a significant impact on how this team and the opposing team plays. No doubt.

Yeah, move Millsap to the bench - anyone notice his point total against Orlando was only half of what is was vs Miami???

He's clearly on the down swing.

Against the Magic, Fes enters the 3q with the Jazz trailing by 17, 71-54. Leaves at 5:48 of the 4th, Jazz tied 80-80. Only 7 minutes and it made a huge difference. So yeah, I could see him getting only 5 minutes to start the game to get the Jazz going better.

i rather see Fes commit some hard fouls to send message to the opponent to stay out of the paint.

Jameer Nelson was killing us last night behind the arc, Dwade constantly drove to the basket without much resistances the night before.

i remember few years back when Cavs visited SLC, Fes wacked Lebron so hard in the face that Lebron was hesistant to drive to the basket from that point that night..

Benching Millsap for Fesenko is the greatest idea I have ever heard. It's almost as good as starting Watson over Dwill.

I could see it. Still give him plenty of minutes, 35 or so, but he would give a huge boost to the bench. Also, he and Al are not exactly clogging the lane up real well. I think it would be very interesting to see the Jazz start the game first 5 minutes with Fes and Big Al.

Maybe I'm missing something; but while I'll concede that the defensive effort from the start has not be stellar the last 4 games; the far greater problem is The Jazz can't put the ball in the damn basket in the first half.

Points at end of First Half

v GSW - 39
v LAC - 39
v Miami -29
V ORL - 35

How is Fes going to solve this problem or better yet how will he impact it if he starts?

really move millsap to the bench????

yes, Millsap is an undersized pf, he will be more efficient against 2nd unit of the opposing team. against elite pfs, sap will not be as efficient unless he got lucky on those 3 pointers that he put down against miami.
