Well he was making fun of burks for scoring late in the game.... so i ask what should he do?

He is in the game late in a blowout and still fighting and trying to score.

Crucify him for dat ****
 
Maybe Harpring will down a bottle of fry sauce to combat the obvious frustration/stress he is feeling over the lack of defense the Jazz showed tonight.
 
Burke is a super competitor. Hopefully one of the assistant's can offer him some useful points so he can learn and improve.
 
The defense was so bad. One play at I think 99-87 sums up what I think. Our guard and Kanter both chase after the PHX guard as he drives after a high PnR. The PHX big pops (one of their stretch 4s I think) to the top of the key, and gets the kickout. Kanter keeps running beyond our baseline. KANTER!!! THERE IS NO ONE TO GUARD BEYOND THE BASELINE!!! WHY THE HELL ARE YOU RUNNING THERE. We were supposed to be better guarding the PnR without Al Jeff right?

The defensive rotations were SO BAD. One guy rotates, and I don't think there was a single rotation after that to cover the guy they left open. Of course theres gonna be open 3pt shooters all day. The only reason we ever got within 15 was because Marcus Morris decided that jab stepping 3 times then pulling up from 18 feet was going to be a good play multiple times.

He was padding his stats. The Jazz are down 16 points with like 1.5 minutes left, and he's running the floor every time he touches the ball for an open lay up (Suns don't care to run after him). There's nothing wrong with that, but it would have been helpful if the players worked so hard on fast breaks when it actually mattered.
 
16 pts, 5 rebounds and 1 TO burks.
Attacking all night (like he should) instead of settling for jumpshots.

3 of his misses ended up being offensive rebound putbacks (2 by evans and 1 by kanter) due to him attacking and drawing the defense.

But ya, blame burks for this one.

I have been very critical of burks play so far this year but tonight he played just fine

The **** Fish? Srs? Burks had an awful game.
 
Remember when Kanter was a rebounding beast? Remember when Favors played amazing defense? Why are they un-learning their strengths?
 
Jeremy Evans is going to be a good 5-10 minute player off the bench, just because he can jump. Get a couple dunks in there early in the 4th quarter in close-ish games when he plays a couple minutes, and the crowd is good to go for the whole 4th quarter. Love how active he is on offense. Defense... someday maybe
