I think you could make a case for all 3 of them...
One thing I read about Denver the other day was about the high altitude home advantage and you have to have players who have a lot of endurance. First note is that what I've seen from Kanter he doesn't fit that pattern too well. I'd really like to keep Favors as he's apparently happy in Utah and a good personality.
So I'll create scenarios how I'd like to form the roster with either of the 3 guys available at 3...I don't have a real preference at this point of the season I think all 3 good be very valuable, but Embiid isn't such a sure thing and I don't like the untapped potential price tag.
1a) Jazz have #3 and select Julius Randle. As they have the 2nd worst record they also have the 32nd pick and select Nik Stauskas. The Golden State pick ends up being #14 and with it the Jazz select James Young.
They also trade Gordon Hayward in a sign and trade for Goran Dragic and the 18th pick in the 2014 draft with which they selct Jahii Carson.
Furthermore there's another trade around Trey Burke to Toronto for Terrence Ross and a future first rounder.
I really wanna find someone who might be looking for Enes Kanter and/or Burks and might have something valuable to return at the 3/4 position, but I can't think of anyone.

So this would leave a depth chart of:
Dragic/Carson
Young/Stauskas
Ross/Burks
Randle/Evans
Favors/Gobert

Maybe I'd try to move Kanter+Ross+Burks in some way that would put us into a position to get Stanley Johnson in 2015 as SF of the future. Otherwise we'd just throw money at either Kawhi Leonard or Jimmy Butler.

With the other options I'm still puzzling a little what I'd like to see but I'm done lineup tinkering for now!

Omg, that is horrible.

Surprised that Embiid is in the lead. Is this just because he has been compared to Hakeem recently? I dont think he is on that level.

I think people are sleeping on Smart.

I'm banned from the 2014 prospects thread so I don't know who the best power forward is, but Favors-RandleMalone is legit ten year foundation.

Right now Embid, but Exum is probably a close second. Wouldn't be upset with Smart or Randle either.

Care to explain? I think that team would be an immediate 3rd place in the West in 2016. And if you can replace Ross with Stanley Johnson somehow it's even better.
This team provides you with strong inside defense, help defense, wing defense, transition buckets, stretches the floor, has a back to the basket threat. It's built to abuse high altitude home advantage to its maximum. It's the whole package.

Embiid without even thinking about it. Heck if the Jazz didn't have Favors, Kanter and Gobert, I might take him over everyone. I still think the Jazz should look into trading Kanter/Burks or Kanter + a 2016 pick for another top pick. Yea I doubt people would do it but it would be awesome.

I am just hoping against all hope that GS pick provides a miracle. A draft of Wiggins/Parker + Embiid might go down in NBA history as the greatest single draft ever. Ok I am going myself worked up... a man can dream... can't he?

When did Embiid start playing basketball? His ceiling might be very high but damn that floor can be painfully low. I'd probably lean towards going with more of a sure thing.
