Why the hell is it some cardinal sin to some of you to mock another player?

They are professional athletes playing a sport for entertainment. It's not like Crabtrees grandma just died and Sherman should be like, "my thoughts and prayers go out to Micheal Crabtree and his family during these tough times."

Professional sports should be cutt throat. I wish more teams hated eachother like the Seahawks and Niners do. Reminds me of the NBA in the 90's when players from opposing teams werent best friends with secret handshakes and stuff.

on the app. square bizness.

Why is it a call to rally behind him like he wasn't a douche for some of you.

Watching Niners fans bitch about Sherman makes this win even more enjoyable.

Seeing Niners fans call Sherman classless is like watching Kobe Bryant complain about how DWade gets calls. Or watching Pamela Anderson call Dolly Parton's boobs fake.

Have Niners fans even seen the way their team acts???

I don't want them to be friends. Hell I don't even care if they hate each other. But this was selfish and the antics after the game were tacky and despicable. You won the game, good job. Now go and show some sportsmanship, not act like a jackass. Same thing I think about Belicheat right now. You lost the game...why are you bitching about a play that your guy made the exact same play the drive before.
.
Sherman's a ****ing douchebag.
.'
Belicheat is a hypocrite. I don't think there were 10 total plays between Welker's block on the pats CB and Edelman's block on DRC. Edelman's was worse in my very biased opinion.
.
If a Bronco had done what Sherman did I would not be defending him. I would be bashing him for being a selfish jackass.

I agree with you about some of the niners. Boldin is a douchebag as well. And the **** he talks every time he makes any catch is stupid as hell. He should have been flagged for multiple taunting fouls in their first round game.
.
But it's not just niner fans calling out Sherman. It's pretty much everybody that is not a seattle fan.

Sad about my Pats yesterday :(

Having the worst recieiving core in the NFL finally caught up with them.

Go Broncos

I'm not a Seahawks fan. And the hysteria about this Sherman issue is all one-way and it's ****ing ridiculous. Mohammed Ali wasn't half the sportsman that Richard Sherman is and he's something of a hero.

Which brings up another thing: it's downright sickening that so may fans seem to have a greater interest in keeping football as dangerous and Neolithic as it can be than letting football players be passionate human beings. HARMESSLY.

Ali and Sherman are the same in that they probably behave(d) the way they did/do in large part because of wanting more fame and getting people to talk about them. BUT Sherman is playing cornerback and winning games as part of team. Ali was beating individuals up by himself, and it was much easier to quantify his level of greatness because of the individuality of the sport.

It's not like I'm going to be losing sleep over how Sherman behaved. It's just that his behavior is not something I would imitate, nor would I care for any of my family and friends to behaving in such a way.

I know! And it's ridiculous.

We get upset when players merely give us coachspeak. When players Boozer us. Everyone bashes the Patriots, Peyton, etc for merely giving us regurgitated emotionless quotes that you could copy and paste after every single game.

Finally, a guy does and says what you've always wanted, clearly expresses emotion after making by far the biggest play of his career, and he's blasted.

Just what the hell do we want?

Would we rather have him come on and Boozer us? "Ah yeah, I gotta give it to our front 7, they played hard. The Niners are a great team and I'm just fortunate to have made a play on the ball. I'm glad my teammate caught it cuz otherwise the Niners would have had more chances to win. I love Crabtree and hopefully we come together and win the Super Bowl. It's going to be tough. We'll need to step up."

Hell no!

I'm glad that someone finally said what you've always wanted to say! And it wasn't vulgar. No F-bombs. Pure emotion.

I wish just once, Peyton or Tom would let loose: "Hey dumbasses who constantly question my arm strength, athleticism, and legacy! I've been shredding defenses for decades now! Kaep and Wilson pass in 5 games what I routinely do per game! I can't help it if my receivers sometimes drop the ball (Wes Welker) or my defense sucks *** (Peyton's career). I made your franchise (up yours Ursay) and built your stadium. Hey, Rob Kraft, I made you all forget Drew Bledsoe real fast! Without me, it wouldn't matter who was coaching this team. I am a hall of famer and I dominate! Don't test me or I'll throw for 500 yards on ya! RG3, Wilson, Kaep, and Newton get all the ink but I own them all. Don't test me"

Where was all the outrage for Harbaugh calling Crabtree, what was it, "the greatest ball-catcher of all-time"? It's one thing to have a big mouth, but it's another thing to have one and to make patently and flagrantly untrue assertions. Is that not a big deal because he wasn't screaming into a mic in the midst of the greatest moment of his life? This is all a question of the size of the stage and STYLE.

By the way, Reggie Miller single-handedly stealing that playoff win in MSG - along with his choking gestures and nut-grabbing directed at Spike Lee's wife - is one of the greatest moments in NBA history. Where's the outrage?
